Help Us Give the Animals in Kings County the Shelter They Need!

Our annual Walk-A-Dog-A-Thon is our flagship fundraising event, with all money raised going towards the goal of having a fully operational shelter. Every year, dedicated animal lovers gather to raise money for the animals in Kings County by collecting pledges and then participating in a walk.

Although the walk is the main event, it is by no means the only event. Throughout the day, there are games, such as our Rally-O Fun Match, contests and great prizes - fun for animal lovers of all ages! Dogs, provided they are on a leash, are all welcomed and encouraged to attend, however you do not have to bring a dog to participate in the walk. Walkers can participate as individuals or in teams, with grand prizes going to the top pledge earners.

How to participate in the walk:

• Download the pledge form here.
• Collect pledges. Remember, you must have all the monies pledged present with you on the day of the walk and be registered to walk in order to qualify for prizes.
• On October 5th, bring your pledge sheet, money collected and register to walk.
• Have fun!
